The 4th edition of the Festival of Motoring Show, is set to continue as South Africa's largest and most exciting motoring and lifestyle event 22 - 25 August 2019 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit

Take Gautrain to Festival of Motoring

Gautrain will run a dedicated bus shuttle service between the Gautrain Midrand Station and Festival of Motoring at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit 22-25 August 2019

Festival of Motoring has partnered with Gautrain to give visitors a stress-free option to get to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit throughout the Festival.

A Gautrain bus shuttle service will be provided between the Gautrain Midrand Station and Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The shuttle service will start at 07:00am and end at 20:00pm daily, coinciding with the train times.

Weekdays trains run at 10-minute intervals between 06:00–09:00 and again between 15:30–18:30 and at 20-minute intervals between 09:00-15:30 and 18:30-20:30. Weekend trains run at 30-minute intervals between 06:00-20:30.

NOTE: All stations will close at standard operating times around 20:30. The last bus to depart from Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will be latest 20:00.

Standard Gautrain rates and conditions apply, please ensure you top up your Gautrain cards prior to the Festival to avoid queues at stations.

Catch a FREE lift on the FNB Park and Ride Shuttle

A shuttle service will be available for visitors between Mall of Africa and Kyalami Circuit. Park your vehicle at Mall of Africa and catch a FREE ride on the FNB Park & Ride Shuttle Service – the Pick-Up and Drop-Off point will be at the Dischem entrance at Mall of Africa. 

2019 FoM Event Features


With all of the major car brands participating in the Festival of Motoring in 2018 show goers will be able to view all of the latest models that car brands have on offer. A special surprise of a future model or model not yet available in SA always adds to the excitement. 40 Pit Garages will accommodate various brands in the Lower Pit Building.

A static and interactive display, of all the major off-road brands, located at the technically challenging Kyalami 4 x 4 Track.

Experience the capabilities and performance of South Africa’s leading 4X4 off-road vehicles testing their abilities on the challenging Kyalami 4X4 Track. Visitors get to experience the vehicles first hand, driven over the technically challenging course by professional off-road drivers.

The unique 1.1 km Kyalami handling track will provide the opportunity for vehicles to be test driven by the public in a safe and controlled environment.

The Galleria in the lower pit building will focus on the Performance Car Market with specialized conversion companies being the focus. Performance aftermarket accessories and related performance industry specialists will showcase exciting vehicles and products.


The Kyalami Skidpan will once again provide an interactive experience with visitors being able to participate in various activations.

An added feature for the 2018 show is the inclusion of two national motorsport categories as part of the track content for the Festival. The Sasol GTC Championship and the Investchem Formula 1600 Championship will form part of an exciting track programme over the three jam-packed show days.
